The player must navigate the environment, overcome obstacles, gather coins and reach the goal to defeat the antagonist and rescue the princess Peach.
Each character has its unique play style, abilities, and skills. The game includes other characters such as Teadette, Toad, Luigi, Yoshi, and Princess Peach.
